Instagram Collaboration

We are absolutely thrilled to introduce our Instagram partner, Lizzie Hartman @alaska.lizzie!

Lizzie came to Alaska nearly 15 years ago, kicking and screaming as it were… leaving friends and familiar places was hard.  She found new friends and new exciting places in Fairbanks. One of her favorite memories is when she visited a small food truck soon after arriving and shared a photo of her plate on Facebook. She received a lot of responses, and a new passion was born. A group of community girls she helped to organize became known as Closer Connections; this was also a theme for her cooking and social media efforts into college years and beyond. She pushed to connect the community through culinary experiences, restaurant tours, and small business promotions. MasterChef scouts picked up on her passion for cooking and sharing when they took notice of her Instagram, and an invitation was sent for her to come and audition.  The next part of the story is shared on United Tastes of America, Season 13.  There's a lot more to come, and never a dull moment, so stay connected to Alaska Lizzie on Instagram, Facebook, and alaskalizzie.com
