In 2017, the Co-op Market Board of Directors passed amendments to the bylaws. Some of the changes were simple copy edits, but the majority corrected sections that do not conform to the state statute governing co-ops (AS 10.15). The board sought and received thorough legal review of these governing documents. These bylaws changes appeared on the 2017 ballot and were approved by Co-op Market Owners.
